LIES MY FATHER TOLD ME


Lies My Father Told Me (1975) PG Growing up in a 1925 Montreal ghetto is tough on David (Jeffrey Lynas), an 8-year-old Orthodox Jewish boy. His only real friend is his grandfather (Yossi Yadin), who places great value on tradition. David's father (Len Birman), however, is anxious to assimilate with modern culture, creating constant tension in the multigenerational household.
